“We spent 20 days in Italy late September and early October 2021. We had the best time and there was no way it would have been as seamless and amazing as it was, were it not for Sally and Slice of Tuscany!

First, we arrived in Rome and spent a few days there with our travel guide (who was engaging and sweet and super knowledgeable) and saw the Vatican St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Colosseum just to name a few. The dining was beyond amazing in every city and Sally knew great restaurant recommendations and we were never disappointed.

After Rome we went to Positano for a week. We loved it here. We got lost a few times but were able to get ahold of Sally through “What’s App” - even in the middle of the night her time - and she helped us right away.

We then went to Tuscany for several days and ended in Florence. Our tour guides were all amazing and all had met Sally before and most knew her on a personal level. What Sally provides is a seamless experience. For us, her service provided drivers when necessary (that were all extremely pleasant, helped us handle our luggage, and even gave some historical perspective as we drove along), she booked all the places we were going to stay and made sure someone would be there to meet us (she double and triple checked right up until the day we arrived), she rented a car for us so all we had to do was get out of the driver she booked for us and pick up the car….. Returning it was just as easy.

Everyone asked how we knew her, and we said we were referred by several friends who had used her services more than once. We joked that everyone that knew her in Italy loved her but seemed to have a healthy fear of disappointing her, so my husband dubber her “the godfather”.

Since Italy is the only country she does- we may only be going there in the future because there is no one that can come close to providing the experience and level of service she does.”

“A group of twelve good middle-aged friends decided they wanted to take a trip to Italy together. Some in our group had heard that Sally (Kansas City young woman living in Florence), and her company, Slice of Tuscany, was someone we should contact. Well, after our first couple of communications with Sally, we all knew our trip was going to come to fruition.

Sally made the planning extremely fun. She suggested and we decided. I cannot give enough praise to all of the choices Sally helped us make. The flights and rental car arrangements were perfect. She’s always available. If we had a question about this or that as we were traveling, Sally promptly was able to help us out.

We would all recommend Sally to anyone who is traveling to Italy. We really just experienced a “Slice” of the country. Sally knows the whole country like the back of her hand. She speaks Italian fluently. She even taught us all how to speak Italian and we are all fluent now…….(only thing I’m kidding about).
