I started Slice of Tuscany in 2013 in order to help others experience the real, authentic Italy that I have come to know and love. My goal is to eliminate the stress and fear of the unknown that comes with planning and travel in Italy.

To date, Slice of Tuscany has worked on more than 1,000 custom Italy trips for couples, families, friends, and small groups with travel ranging from Venice to Lake Como, Sicily to Puglia, and all the spaces in between.

Originally from Kansas City, I moved to Italy in 2010 and began working part time as a wine tour guide in Florence and Tuscany. Over the next several years, I expanded my network of local guides, chefs, and artists throughout Italy, and identified a hole in the service-side of Italy travel planning. I decided to bring all of my contacts together and to introduce a new kind of travel planning focusing on the specific needs and interests of each traveler.

Each trip we plan is based on the individual traveler’s interests and needs, and not on sending you to places or suggesting you things in order to earn a commission or make money. We work in an honest and straight-forward manner to plan the best possible trip for you at the honest, real price.

I currently live in my hometown of Kansas City with my two dogs Lily and Max.

I have a WSET Level 3 wine certification, as well as Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and Italian Wine Scholar, and am a Certified Travel Specialist.
